Gordon Bridger

Gordon Bridger was born in London, England, educated at Christ’s Hospital, and studied theology at Cambridge University. After ordination he served in churches in London, Cambridge, Edinburgh and Norwich, before becoming Principal of Oak Hill Theological College. Now travelling and teaching more widely – including among former students of his in Uganda and Tazania - he is also part of the preaching team at Cromer Parish Church in Norfolk.

He has written a number of books, including most recently a commentary on the biblical books of Obadiah, Nahum and Zephaniah, in the Bible Speaks Today series (Inter-Varsity fellowship).

A cricketing enthusiast, Gordon is also a keen supporter of the Arsenal Football Club. He and his wife Elizabeth have three married daughters and ten grandchildren. They share an interest in music, and love for the Norfolk countryside.
